Why compressed air needs to be dried

Compressed air contains 100% relative humidity of water, with its cooling in the pipeline, water will precipitate out, in the compressed air system, if there is water, will bring many disadvantages to the user.

Firstly, there will be an increase in running and maintenance costs, i.e. a rise in maintenance costs for components such as meters, solenoid valves, cylinders, etc.; a reduction in the efficiency of the equipment and the possibility of production interruptions;

Secondly, the social security investment of the whole production line increases, and it is necessary to add condensation, separation, sewage and other equipment in the system;

Lastly, the quality of the process will be affected by the high water content of the compressed air, thus affecting the quality of the product, especially for the paint spraying, sand blasting, pneumatic control systems, food processing, pharmaceutical and other industries.

The degree of dryness of compressed air is usually expressed by the dew point temperature, the dew point is the temperature at which water vapour starts to condense through cooling and becomes liquid from vapour.

 
Refrigerated Air Dryer

Refrigerated compressed air dryer is the most widely used and economical compressed air drying equipment. The refrigerated dryer produced by our company is manufactured with advanced technology and imported parts, which can be matched with any air compressor to remove the water in compressed air and achieve the gas quality with pressure dew point 2-10℃.

When the temperature drops, the water content of the air also drops, the original gaseous water will become liquid, refrigerated dryer is to use this dehumidification principle. Firstly, the compressed air is cooled to make the gaseous water condense into liquid state, and then the gas and liquid are separated through the separator, and finally the water is discharged by the drain valve, so as to obtain the dry compressed air.

Compressor (Panasonic, Mitsubishi and other well-known brands):
S series of high-efficiency type original brand compressor, to achieve refrigeration energy efficiency ratio of 3.6 or more, the real energy-saving purpose. Heat exchanger (evaporator core + condenser): the use of high-efficiency heat exchanger copper tube manufacturing, enlargement of the heat production a rea up to 10%, compared with the traditional roduction process heat transfer efficiency increased by 30%.

The correct selection of refrigerated dryer

Refrigerated compressed air dryer according to the different compressed air inlet temperature is divided into: standard and high-temperature type; two types of cold dryer according to the cooling system cooling method is divided into: air-cooled and wter-cooled type of two types.
Refrigerated compressed air dryer selection needs to determine the need to deal with the maximum volume of compressed air flow (NM3/min), the minimum inlet pressure (Mpa (g)), the highest inlet temperature (℃), the
highest ambient temperature (℃),the highest temperature of the cooling water (℃), according to the above parameters to check the following table to get the selection coefficients, calculated from the actual nominal volume flow.
